Setup

  • Use a mid-iron (7–8 iron)
  • Tee the ball very low or place it directly on the mat
  • Alignment neutral, stance shoulder-width

What to do

  1. Make 50–70% swings

2. Place some grass (any soft object will do) in front of the ball

3. Focus on brushing the mat after the ball

4.Hold your finish for 2 seconds

What it should feel like

  • Solid, compressed strike
  • No vibration through the hands
  • Balanced finish

If it’s not working

  • Thin shots: Slow the swing down, feel weight slightly left at impact
  • Fat shots: Narrow stance and feel chest staying over the ball
  • Inconsistent contact: Shorten the swing and rebuild tempo
